Monbukagakusho Scholarship (Chiba University recommendation)
Please, check your affiliation has University level or Faculty level Agreement with our University or not. If Yes, please, send your CV, record(s), and research proposal to Prof Josaphat Tetuko Sri Sumantyo and mention the research theme you want to do.

Monbukagakusho Scholarship (Embassy recommendation)
This Scholarship is more flexible and basically everybody could apply it. Please, ask to the Japanese Embassy in your country to find the application forms. Please, send your CV, record(s), and research proposal to Prof Josaphat Tetuko Sri Sumantyo and mention the research theme you want to do. We will select the candidate and publish the Letter of Acceptance or Letter of Recommendation.

Post Doctoral Fellowship Researcher (Short or Long Term Fellowship Program)
Many kind of Fellowships could be applied by the candidate to hold a joint research with Microwave Remote Sensing Laboratory, i.e. Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). If you plan to apply it, please send your CV, record(s), and research proposal to Prof Josaphat Tetuko Sri Sumantyo and mention the research theme you want to do. We recommend the candidate who has publication more than 6 peer-reviewed papers (or books and patents), then prepare a research proposal to hold the most advance science or technology that has merit for environment and human life.

Sabbatical Program and Overseas Goverment Supporting Students / Researchers
If you plan to hold a sabbatical program or study in MRSL Laboratory or Josaphat Laboratory under the supporting (scholarship) of your origin country, please send your CV, record(s), letter of supporting and research proposal to Prof Josaphat Tetuko Sri Sumantyo and mention the research theme you want to do.
