Graduate Course (Doctor program)
(Artificial Systems Sciences Division, Graduate School of Science and Technology,
Chiba University) |
1. Remote Sensing
Technology (Spring, 2 units)
Contents :
This lecture introduces the interaction between electromagnetic waves (especially,
microwave) and earth surface. This techniques are employed to analysis
the satellite data (especially, synthetic aperture radar data) and focused
on the analysis of environmental analysis, data processing techniques,
and its applications.
In this lecture, the synthetic aperture system, radar imaging and processing are explained as easier as possible, to guide the students to know the wave propagation, scattering and radar signal processing.
Keywords :
Environmental monitoring, electromagnetic wave, satellite (aircraft) monitoring,
algorithm development, data processing, applications
Language : Japanese / English

|
2. Microwave Remote Sensing (Spring, 2 units)
Contents :
This lecture introduces the microwave remote sensing technique to monitor the earth surface, including the disaster monitoring, archaeology, forestry, hydrology etc applications of optic sensor and synthetic aperture radar (SAR).
Keywords :
Microwave remote sensing, optic sensor, SAR sensor
Language : Japanese / English
